I can’t pinpoint exactly why I see such a difference between the original dial and this modified dial, but what I do no is tha5 somehow the modified dial is empty. Too empty

Fair point. That could very well be so. Perhaps that’s why I can’t put my finger at it. Someone should show me how to judge a dial from a more design perspective. Learn why the dial of one “two hands time only” looks empty whilst another one is a feast fo... 

I can't fill the hands, as a) I don't know how and b) I think that'd be a terrible idea. The hands are perfect! v2! ...  

The “automatique” does balance the dial to my eye. This no-date version could make for an interesting boutique limited edition.
