an excellent example of a watch that epitomizes modern classic. Austere, beautiful and a watch I would own and wear indefinitely.

It was the steel version with silver dial, but still gorgeous to me.

The hunter case back is not something that you see often on JLC's but on this piece it looks very elegant. The font work on the calligraphy engraving is also a lovely touch.

There is so much on this "small" watch! And yet, its dial is perfectly readable. Clearly, a materpiece from JLC. I wonder if the platinium gives it a bigger feel on the wrist! And that hidden hunter caseback, nice! Thanks Nicolas for bringing it back to m... 

I did buy one new many years ago but in rose gold which is still in my collection. I wish more companies made the hunter back cases. Best of both worlds. ...  

I found the blue on blue with white subdial hands very legible, the hunter case back very cool and the 250 piece LE very desirable. -Dean
