I had a photographer once who remarked that I appear to love all things grey (I had a grey bag, and wearing a PD chromo; she also noted that the color of my car has grey in its blue, something that simply appealed to me and not explicitly selected for this reason--I have to give her that acute sense of color and perceptiveness!). Perhaps for this reason, this Amvox appealed to me from the get-go. The other watch that has this all grey theme is the new IWC. Unfortunately, I am at the age when purchasing new watches is more or less over so I will have to gawk at photos here

Thank you for all your kind comments. This one went through two straps before it hits jackpot with this grey fabric band, which as Nicolas remarked, fits the watch quite well.
I came to a brown alligator strap too...
But I traded that in for this fabric one with a quick change lever, which comes in very handy for cleaning after hours outdoors.

You cycle the date from 9:30 PM to 2:30 AM and back you can advance the date without too much pain. ...
