Having read it I was disappointed I have to say: a) because their answers were created as out of a textbook - they were not authentic in the way they wrote them and b) the prospects of anything a bit romantic or inspiring (eg manual winds, vintage logo, free sprung balance at large, smaller diameters, alarm complication, etc) that could help raise my personal interest seem not really in line with the current thinking.
Well, thankfully there are other brands who think differently, so.. c’est la vie.
Still great effort from our forum’s side, so super thankful!

I like both of those models. The 5001 has a true Pellaton winding system. A third one for you? Maybe a Pilots watch if you like the style? Otherwise, if you like the Portugeiser, the classic Chronograph is another one of my favorites!

Although honestly, more pieces could be free sprung, even those in the lower price strata. But, at the same time, the people who pay the big bucks do need to get some differentiation for the additional costs!
