What a lovely little watch…
And one which is seemingly worth more than the sum of its parts! Beautiful, micro rotor movement from an established producer, perfect size, guilloche dial with engraving and Breguet numbers, a shapely handset - all of the details add up, and this one, as another poster noted, punches about its weight.
This gives me a bit of a KV or UJ vibe - perhaps as a result of his education. Love seeing that style of watch become more pervasive in the industry.
I do not have much, if any, experience with Laine - is anything, in particular, a hallmark of his personal style as a watchmaker?

Thanks! I agree with you about the KV/UJ vibe especially for the dials, but without the typical lugs of a KV or UJ
As for a hallmark of his style, hmm... well the dials would be a feature. The dials can be done with 3 types of guilloche, much like Sham's lovely blue one, or can be hand-engraved, like in the pic below from Time & Tide I guess the other feature would be...

but the watch is spectacular. Pricing is also fair given the work ans the movement (which, if I am not mistaken is the same of the Hermes thin and the Tonda).

I love guilloche dials and those applied numerals. Having no numerals on the sub seconds is spot on (unlike 5196p or vc 1921 - with those would adopt this) -kevin

You have taken some wonderful photos which is fully demonstrates the beauty of the dial and movement. Laine may outsource the dials and movement but he brings everything together in a sublime package. Enjoy your watch as I am mine!

One of the unexpected pleasures is in winding the watch. Yes, it’s automatic, but winding the Vaucher movement is delightfully smooth and provides much tactile enjoyment !

I wind my watches daily and winding the Laine takes top spot - silky smooth - only my Patek 7200 can compare.
