RM has been moving more in-house, lately. Not an RM kinda guy, and definitely don’t have the budget for them, but they were always bound to put that money to good use. On the in-house front, duffour uses ready-supplied movements for the simplicity, and then finishes them to an exquisite level and people pay 750k USD for them, without anyone ever complaining. I don't mind that so much--those are good vibes! But LF does seem to spread themselves AWFULLY thin on the various limited editions...
Revolution has a collab with them.
LF has an issue with distribution and moving stock. These collabs will certainly help, Bc it puts the onus on the retailer (or, in this case, auction house) to do the marketing and pushing and selling

I’m a fan. Their distribution issues and some minor QC issues bother me.
When those get fixed, I’d be happy to jump on. The prior quibbles were them being an assemblage watch company, as opposed to a true manufacturer. But many of the prominent indie’s are the same way, and no one has cried foul about the others.

But these watches are just superb. I am an absolute sucker for the hands of the black dialled one. They will be out of my reach and that is fine.
Actually, I’m not a fan of these two models. It appears they wanted to go in a more sport like direction.
However in my opinion if they had a better water resistance an a screw down crown perhaps these would appeal to me a little bit more
Excellent critique. I’m not a fan neither. I’m partial to what made the brand famous (their pebble shaped cases and natural escapement movements and austere dials).
