Truly appreciative of all inputs
I am grateful for all the comments received on this thought intriguing discussion. While all information is valuable, guess what, I'm still undecided! Sometimes the decision process is much more interesting than the acquisition itself.
I think I am leaning towards the Observatoire, but finding the right combination in metal/dial color/condition etc. is probably going to take a lot of luck. Wish me luck...

it is a tough call, perhaps with no right answer, but your short answer is correct. And yes, you are right, less than 50 Observatoires total.
