It has been a wait of two years but when the watch arrived this week, it was totally worth it. I was moonstruck when I first saw the released pictures of the Yosuke Sekiguchi watch - it ticked all the right boxes - grand feu enamel dial, Roman indices, ha...

I am still trying to get over the excitement

I too had never heard of this designer and maker but he seems to have done everything more than just right it really is a stunning yet understated piece. I also would go for a white gold as is my preference but it really is just so beautiful you can't rea... 

But I like watches with substantial weight...

As you may know by two of my previous threads ( here and there ), this is a dream watch for me. I went to Le Locle a couple of weeks ago and met Yosuke Sekiguchi and his distributor Julien Vallon: both are incredibly nice people. I've been able to see the...  

I believe there was a price adjustment (of 33%) from two years back, once the watch attracted much attention

And I must say that knowing that only Yosuke Sekiguchi can service his watches for the moment, as he told me, was a caveat for me. But in a few years from now he will have trained some watchmakers, hopefully. Anyway, his watches are as beautiful and attra...

The wait was testing, particularly as I am dealing with the watchmaker and the dealer for.the first time

I’ve been following along for a couple of years also; anything Japanese immediately catches my attention and this was no different (albeit, he is based in Switzerland). I was just this weekend thinking of logistics for a summer trip to Switzerland and won...
