I was beginning to wonder when someone would say something favourable about the Grossmann. I agree that the finishing of the Grossmann is superior to a Lange and even the UJ but we are in the golden age where movement finishing seems to have taken priority over the accuracy of the watch, the dial, case shape, lugs and even the metal the case is in. For me personally, as we are so spoilt for choice these days, the dial, hands, case shape and size, accuracy and after sales service are very important. The movement too must be finely finished not necessarily to the standards of Dufour, Voutilainen, Rexhepi or Smith.
