If you look at the H8 as a watch it is true that there's missing something, actually something very important: the indication of time. That's why Beat talks of a sculpture rather than a watch. And I have found his way of questioning our relationship to time by leaving away the hands quite a witty and courageous one. I have been expecting from the beginning that not everyone will be sold on this 'timepiece without time'. I guess that's the implication of a provocation; and in my view the H8 is a provocative watch.
