Hi guys. Falling in love with this watch, but can’t decide on the dial and hands combo. The watch is very customizable.
I love the blue guilloche dial, as well as the blued hands, but I am concerned that there will not be enough contrast for easy time reading. What do you think? ( I apologize for double photos, but for some reason I am having difficulty with posting.mI was trying to post a photo with silver hands, but it posted the green one again, and there is no option to delete the post and start all over 🤷♂️)

I can always do the hands in all silver as well, but they will not look as interesting as the blued ones.


Or one can be a little more adventurous and go with this green one.

I should opt for the blue dial but with Roman indexes & full white gold (or maybe white paint) second hands, as proposed on the green version. My 2 cents. Photo of the back?

Do you mean only the white seconds , but the hour and minute in blue?

If I am viewing this correctly....
how about switching the silver base of the hands to blue and the remaining part of the hands silver? It would give the appearance that the hands are floating.

That is one of the few items he would not change. Some of the items come as they are.
Tough choices , i think a full silver hand would be the better choice however i do like that partial blue on the hands as well

I was not aware that S-B had a model with sub-seconds at six. My watch friends know that I’m obsessed with this layout…so few get it right to my eyes, the proportions of the size and location of the sub-seconds dial being very sensitive… This looks lovely...
I would not be cocerned about legibility with any of these pieces: they are not mundane watches that only tell time at one glance
I see them as pieces where your eyes are lingering for a moment, to enjoy the sight in the first place and read the time by the way. I would go for the one that speaks most to me.
You are absolutely correct in this regard.
The legibility does take a back seat here.
Green for me but ....
I am flamboyant and so perhaps you can have the outer ring as blue and the inner ring as green ! I would keep the various styles of guilloche cuz it is super cool! Why not combine the best of the two watches and have a muli coloured watch!
Lolz! At the end of the day, you will be wearing it and so whatever makes you the happiest is the best!

At 1st I wanted some sort of polished titanium - since that is what Armand is known for. Then i thought I should get stone. But after 4-5 main variations and about 35 renderings I'm going all guilloche. Just debating on the patterns.

I have changed direction and now ( after input from my daughters) I am down to these three. Leaning towards the one with blue sub dial, but can’t decide between the romans ( which look more interesting) and Arabics ( which look cleaner ). Also thinking of...

To me the blue sub dial is too much. Roman numeral are something I had to get used to but not am ordering a SB04 for myself with roman’s that I should get this year. I also have an SB05 on order for my wife, Russetta, and she is in the process of choosing...

I am actually leaning towards the first one as well, just can’t decide between the romans and Arabics. My kids prefer Romans, but my friend and Armand himself like the Arabics.
