I like that too and have been looking at the PT with grey dial. Really really nice, but I disagree a little about giving a complication like the reserve de marche such a prominent role on an automatic watch if you know what I mean. I have that on the Divi... 

But when one starts rotating, then RdM could be more intriguing. Especially when an automatic has long RdM (e.g. Fifty Fathoms), the tendency to rotate is higher than normal; and then knowing how much more you can play with rotating is very useful. When i... 

By balancing I met balancing the concept not having The rdm as the main feature. The Octa RdM is definitely balanced and you get to enjoy the finish of the discretely grained dial in all it\'s purity; on the grey dial that is. BTW I am so enjoying the fon...

I am not sure why but for the most part they don\'t photograph very well. They are always much better looking IRL, probably because of the way light hits the precious metal dials.

You miht be right Erik. I think that goes for most watches. I guess you need to have some better macro eqipment and have a light cage to kill the reflections. I wouldn't call it a flaw. From your profile picture it looks like you have an FP Calendrier. Wh... 

I was kidding when I called it a flaw. I was just highlighting the fact that every FPJ I saw looked better in real life than in photos, including many I thought I wouldn\'t like at all. I let the perpétuelle go but I got a RN.

I think the whole resonance phenomenon is more poetic than actual fact. Let\'s say it might improve accuracy if everything else is in perfect balance and perfectly adjusted. However it is still one of the few true dual time as you can set time zones that ...
