There isn't a "complainer" list. But basically if there's a known frequent complainer or a first-post complainer, we would reserve the right to remove the post. We've definitely had A LOT of complainers who have no real intent to contribute to the forums. They complaint and they leave. Never to post again. We find that this creates a lot of damage for the watch industry (or jewelry industry if it's a complaint about a dealer) without a lot of credibility. So, I guess if a newspaper wanted to ask a politician a "deep cutting question" like, "does your government favor watch company and jewelry stores over first-post complainers?" My straightforward answer is, "we might appear to side with a watch company or jewelry store over a first time complainer simply because we have seen a lot of complaints from people who have no intent to participate on our forums and use our platform to air their complaint. Our forum is about collaboration, friendship, and sharing experiences both good and bad - but we do have some people who have no intent in collaboration nor friendship and only want to share their bad experiences - and that affects the credibility of those posts are in question." Does it appear we're siding with the jewelry store or the watch company? Perhaps it does from a certain angle. But it's not about that at all, our goal isn't to protect the jewelry store or watch company, it's to keep this website an enjoyable place to be. Not a toxic waste dumping ground.
If you're a reliable poster, and the jewelry store scratches your watch while servicing it, and your post is objective, informative, and reminds others to take photographs of the watch... That's definitely helpful. We would love for you to post your experience.
And let me add, even my own posts are censored from time to time as mentioned above. I posted those posts thinking they were legitimate discussion topics. But other moderators thought that my post complaining about TAUCK tours (avoid TAUCK, they were awful to me) wasn't objective and my alligator cruelty post was deemed too political. The rules are definitely applied to all! Even frequent posters. Even senior moderators like myself (and I'm considered a very frequent poster)!
I hope I've given you some assurance that we try our best to operate in a consistent and fair manner!
