but a well adjusted 5 position watch will run better than a poorly adjusted 6 position watch. Number of position does not necessarily equate to accurate, the quality of how a given position is regulated is likely the most important factor here. Quality over quantity! Sometime you get both, but not always...

Thanks for your perspective. So if 6 isn’t necessarily better than 5, I remain curious why a manufacturer would prominently display the adjustment number on the back of the movement, where space is such a premium.
