Rexhep’s brother recently unveiled his new watch, a type of dead beat minutes watch where the second hand stops at 60 for two seconds, allowing for the minute hand to jump forward instantly. It’s an interesting complication and one that I haven’t seen bef...  

But I agree with your points on the hands and lugs. Not my first choice in this price range either.

The lugs are insane, the movement is ok and the dial doesn't work. I don't see how this is in any way comparable to the amazing RRCC II, or any other watch by Akrivia for that matter.

You see it in the housing market, cars and watches. It seems that people are a little more cautious and bracing for potential impact when this crazy ride comes to an end. At least I know I am, I have three watches on order and then I go back into hibernat...

I'd say that supporting independents on their first project is always a bit of a Kickstarter, but Xhevdet can share resources and expertise with Rexhep. That makes it medium risk. I think the spoon hand looks fine, but the complication is strange. The run...

This watch is desperately needing some refinement to come close to the price offering. The stripes for me are one of the biggest fails in their rendering. For 83k they can do better, I will take a Kari for a bit more or a LF tourbillon all day. So many ch... 

They could have been done more elegantly in my opinion. However the dial I find interesting, especially the metal lines that corresponds to the hours on the inner part of the dial. The hands I’m neutral on but they are different from others.
