Love the idea
Actually, both of them. If the opportunity presents itself, I will ask Kari tomorrow exactly how many Observatoires there are/will be -- seems a lot of them by now! This bothers me less than it used to, as I'm pleased for others to share the same pleasure that the watch brings me. That said, I am also interested to know how many there are.
On the second idea, it would really be great to have a collection of photos of as many of the Observatoires as possible. Each is, as far as I know, a unique piece -- the small variations are many and the tastes of the owners are quite varied. There have already been many excellent photos posted that could be suitable for use as-is -- and perhaps other owners will submit photos or allow their pieces to be photographed. I know that I would be willing to apply my modest photographic skills on behalf of any owners who would like their pieces to appear but aren't photography hobbyists themselves.
The idea may never come off, but I like it anyway!

The Steath Observatoire has landed!
I really love those rhodium hands. The plain back bezel is very nice and clean looking. Those new screws are very cool too! Congrats, CL and wear it in the best of health!
