Certainly one of the most beautiful watches, period. And if I am not mistaken, this one is stainless, and perhpas one of the most desirable stainless watches anywhere.
Of all the Observatories this is my favorite.... The color of the hands is what stands out the most to me..... Well done CL on this one..... Enjoy my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the non-guilloche Titanium case/Black dial, the Platinum case/Brown dial and the Rose Gold case/ Enamael lacquered dial Observatoires are among my most favourite. This is one watch that have too many beautiful choices. I look at others and wish th...
CL -- Brilliant! It is great to see all of the wonderful variations on the Observatoire, and I really like your choices. I will be visiting with Kari next week and will try to post some photos. Congrats, Gary G
I really love those rhodium hands. The plain back bezel is very nice and clean looking. Those new screws are very cool too! Congrats, CL and wear it in the best of health!

It's stainless steel but I honestly do think all Observatoires are equally desirable and rare (only 30-35 pieces) Now I hope it will sit nicely on my wrist Cheers, CL
...and in those colours, a 'matched pair' for your Simplicity! The last word in understatement: heartfelt congratulations. So, it must be only a few days away from your wrist? Cheers, pplater.
about a month later since the watch has to go to Besancon and I'm travelling to Asia for my exhibition. We will compare notes once I get the test result *CL
Hi CL, Congratulation on your new aquisition! It is truly superb. Hi also to you all happy owners of Voutilainen's Observatoire ! I have carried out a little census of all the Observatoires that I know of, and I can see at least as many as 23 different wa...
Actually, both of them. If the opportunity presents itself, I will ask Kari tomorrow exactly how many Observatoires there are/will be -- seems a lot of them by now! This bothers me less than it used to, as I'm pleased for others to share the same pleasure...
TERRIBLY SORRY that I miss seeing you :-( The silver hands are Allen's brilliant idea. And Kari is very nice to accomodate last minute and even make an effort to keep the ring thinner than it was. Like you, he is such a wonderful gentleman and I tell myse...
Love the understated stealth look. Very nice choice indeed. i will post some pics of mine next week...much darker look, with the RG and dark dial. Enjoy it!! Tim
gonna get very very small . I want very very few pieces and I want to really wear them till old. The new watches now are all too big for my wrist so I guess it's great for my bank ;-) Cheers, John
a very brilliant variant of the series. What would be so COOL, would be to see the Mr White next to Mr Black (Observatoires) next to each other. Compare the finish on the cases (of steel and titanium), and the dials. Congratulations and wear it in the ver...
MANY congrats CL. LOVELY piece and am hoping that I be able to be there when Mr White and Mr Black meet up. If not, kindly take pics and share with us here
Congrats and wear in the best of health CL. I met Kari a few years back, sitting next to him at dinner and had no clue who he was for the first half hour. I did not know a thing about independent watchmakers. After I saw two of his watches I was floored s...
