I‘m a sucker for these grainy grey dials!

I also like the case design (at 42mm too big for me, but that‘s personal) and the beautiful backside. I don‘t like the applied sectors for the brand and the Oregon - the dial would be much cleaner if these were printed directly on the dial imho.
Definitely lots of potential here. I think it can even get better when considering these details.
Cheers,
Daniel

Really impressed with his work and contemplating to make an order calibre 29.30 are based on the Unitas 6497 The finishing is really great At 42mm it’s a bit big but still acceptable and surely has presence on the wrist What do you think of this watchmake...

and he really has some nice details - like screwed chaton and well sunk jewel holes. One mystery is how he has resolved the click and clock spring. I guess it is under the 3/4 plate - but I would really like to see how that hs been done.
Hard today what we think

base on a couple of pictures, but from what I see I like and worth a bit more research. Looks like it has lots of promise.

Give him a year or two to finish the orders he has already accepted

He’s an agreeable guy in person, certainly. Now we should find out if he can manage those business and customer relations parts of being an independent watchmaker... I’ve seen many a talented watchmaker (consultant, etc) struggling with those aspects of w...

And he collaborates with Josh Shapiro to make the dials. I’m guilloche junkie and would certainly pursue that option

Amazing work. Good value considering the amount of hand work/finishing

Is really the only thing about this watch that gives me a little bit of pause. I believe the case is his own design now? I know he used to work with off the shelf Fricker cases. Does anyone know the thickness of the current cases?
Hey Mohannad!

I respectfully disagree

I think the applied sectors give a lot of dimensionality to the dial.
Check out the attention to detail

on the teeth of this ratchet wheel and click system. I stole these images off Keaton's instagram account. That rounded hand polished execution is VERY difficult to accomplish to the degree that you see it here. Many watches that sell for many multiples of...
