If I was to have only one watch forever, this would be it. I am blown away by this.

Wow! That's a HUGE compliment!

The whole team at MB&F probably just had a moment with a very warm feeling in their ears!

They are definitely statement pieces...

I've actually met a young tech-guy who wore an HM4 regularly. It had some scratches. But he really loved the piece. It was big on him, but he didn't care; he had a big enough personality to pull it off. The HM9 seems it will likely "wear" better than the ...

Mesmerizing, fascinating, stunning.

Who needs a retirement account?

Thank you.

But only a prizewinning lottery ticket would do the math for that to happen Vte

It could happen!

It does happen!

This is what I love to see from MB&F

Back in the Horological Machine sweet spot for me.

It is Sweet...

What's your favorite Horological Machine so far? Mine is the HM4 and HM7.

I've always been fond of the HM4...

But I very much enjoy 2 and 3 (in all its forms) as well.

HM3 was definitely cool...

I've been looking for a good home for a Rose gold Sidewinder HM3. But every time I see it, I just think... it's such a nice piece. It's more wear-able than the HM4 and HM7.

Yes they did it again ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

A amazing and very cool piece of wrist art , cant wait to see it in person ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿค—

You're closer to Geneva than I am...

Hope you get to see it soon! You've seen the Akrivia and the latest Gronefeld before I am. My money's on you that you'll get to see it before I do!

Looking forward! [nt]

My fave HM to date.

Would pair nicely with an LM2

Similar mechanism principal...

Following the footsteps of the Philippe Dufour Duality (of which there are only 9 in the world) the HM9 and LM2 both average the rates of both balance springs in a special differential. Very similar in many ways.

The true avant garde. Amazing [nt]

Indeed...

And I like how it appeals to the "child within" and at the same time it's still serious horology. Sometimes they make something really cool and unusual, but then they throw in some generic movement in there that isn't well decorated nor special. MB&F real...

Hey Patrick, I appreciate the time and writing!

Thanks and good work! Awesome watch, too, of course.

Thank you Spangles!

It's easy to get inspired to write something when you're inspired by the product!

Wowza.

There's something about the form of this HM which to me appeals more than any of those that have come before. The curves of the three "hulls" seem very natural and very pleasing to the eye. And the watch overall looks like it could be pretty wearable, som...

Try one on. Make it work.

Besides, who needs a retirement account? The kids do need to go to college, so don't close that account. Kids cost you a lot of watches.
