I've had her for
almost a year so there's absolutely no need for service quite yet! (Thank god for that!) No problem whatsoever w/ the date jumping so far although I haven't put it on a timer yet. However, based on my casual observation, the time keeping is pretty decent.

I like minimalistic look and this does it for me. I actually like the Black Edition of this watch but I am not sure how resistant that DLC coating is. Thank you for sharing this with us. One of the best perpetual calendars out there.

HMC applies three layers of DLC coating hence it's supposedly one of the toughest on the market. Moreover, it's DLC applied on Titanium as opposed to steel, hence more shock resistant. If I hadn't already bought my own piece, I probably would have serious...
