I feel like I am there with you observing this watch, or sometimes right back in Vianney's workshop. Easily the best review I can remember of the Antiqua, especially standing back with the benefit of time to compare with some more modern creations.
Thought I knew this watch pretty well, but learned a lot here about the details, especially in regard to the dials. Love those hand engraved, multi-level PT dials on this watch.
I think you may give many a renewed interest in Vianney's work.
Can't wait to see this in person soon.
