clarification.....
Basic service is 6000/7000 CHF but to make it like a brand new one, it will be between 12000CHF to 18000CHF.
That was what I was told when I questioned abut the 15000CHF service cost.
Maybe because the watch is heavily handmade, hence the super high cost to service , especially the case.

actually when I send in for servicing...
which is very not often, I also expect the watch to come back in like new condition. At least that's my experience with Dufour, Journe, Lange and Patek....they all came back looking spanking new. For Vianney basic service, not rebuilding...it is around 70...
