Happy to show you the watches when I'm back in town with the prototypes. As an aside, I appreciate all the comments here (I still do try to find the time to lurk here from time to time!). I've always maintained that taste is a personal thing, and just as - as a collector - I would never begrudge anyone for not liking a watch (or aspects of it) that I liked, or vice versa - it remains the same here even if I'm one of the folks behind this brand. And the invitation to meet up and show the prototypes, chat about our philosophy and what the experience has been like, etc., or to just hang out, goes for anyone here - I'm based in New York but end up elsewhere a fair amount, so feel free to contact me if we happen to be in the same place (@waitlisted on instagram is probably the easiest way).

Don’t mean to be mean, but this watch would have been exciting had it come out 5 years ago. We’ve now had so many new indies coming out with the same proposition, this now

Lovely watches and a great first effort
but the pricing leaves too much to be desired.
I think we’ve said this before…
…but 50-70k is the new 20-30k. It just seems to be so as all these new watches over the last 3-5 years have shown. Like you, I can’t get my head around it.
I however have decided to turn in the opposite direction
and look for value watches under the 5k mark! I shall be posting a review shortly on a lovely watch by an unknown independent.
