I understand your sentiment. When I first saw the picture I also first thought about KV/UJ.
But I don't think the movement itself was the only aspect that "reveals itself" - having taken a look at the real life shots shared by some above, again yes at a glance there are hints of KV/UJ but upon just a bit of closer look at the dial there are many elements that already tells you it's not at that level - the finishing, the indices, the rails, the size of its lugs etc already immediately looked "cheaper" (relative to KV/UJ). I don't think it's meant to fool anyone. They have also quite prominently displayed their own logo, which also then adds to the differentiation.
Again, I understand why you think this may be too much of a copy. But these things do happen quite often even with other more well known brands. GS and Rolex have quite a few models that could look "the same" to an outsider, same for Longines and Breguet or similarly even for PP/VC/JLC/GP with their basic classics.
In the end, for those that are in the know, they know. For the case of Ophion, like the above examples, you may be getting something that looks somewhat similar, but it's just some basic design elements, but when you look at finishing and overall execution it's still miles behind - which is ok, as you just get what you pay for.
