Worse …
It can always get worse. A whole series of boutiques ended up canceling everything … including several in the Netherlands, Antwerp (Belgium), Dubai, and many others … simply on police orders because they could no longer guarantee safety. Apparently, a group of troublemakers got involved, and there were even fights, all just to resell the items later at a higher price.
Some people were so foolish that they claimed it was a €20–30k watch they could now ‘exceptionally’ get for €400. I’m honestly more and more surprised every day by the level of stupidity displayed by a large part of the population.
As of today, they’re already being listed on Chrono24 for €1,200–1,500, and that price will likely drop very quickly.
