... reported that all the people in line were flippers.
Many boutiques in the US had to close for security reasons.
Initial stock reported at maybe 20-30 pieces per store. People posting under the Swatch account on Instagram are MAD after having driven for hours to the limited # of US boutiques hoping to get something.
Long story short: totally mismanaged, and the people that did want something for the fun of it were frozen out and unable to get anything. It's been a complete failure outside of the "exposure."

It can always get worse. A whole series of boutiques ended up canceling everything … including several in the Netherlands, Antwerp (Belgium), Dubai, and many others … simply on police orders because they could no longer guarantee safety. Apparently, a gro...
