Over the last year and a half I have both drastically reduced my online watch activities, as well as almost stopped it in the presence of children. Your point there is very valid and apt.
They have both expressed an interest in a watch or two at times (and daddy thought of it even before, getting a Fortis Mini Flipper mechanical watch for my daughter even before she thought of watches). There are times when these are worn avidly but the times pass and re-emerge.
The world timer was completely out of the blue. My daughter grabbed my phone and after unlocking it saw a picture and figured, ‘I like that’ 😉

The MB Orbis Terrarium is a little thick and not quite elegant enough for a young lady. I think you're going to have to stick with a Patek 5110!
