I agree with you.
If your watches are 'born' within the geographical canton of Geneva and reach minimum specifications for Geneva Seal, you should be entitled to it. That's the only reason to have a factory in Geneva.....apart from the nice lake and living condiitons
We all have high quality watches that cannot garner a Geneva Seal because they are not made in Geneva.
Now, if watchmakers really want to prove the quality, timing and function of fully-cased watches in a destruction test, they should try for the Qualite Fleurier.......
Open to all who can afford the failure rate and damaged pieces, irrespective of where your factory is located. Spooky that not many brands try for a QF....eh?
