. . . that compares. There are some Grand Seikos that I consider comparable in terms of perceived value, albeit at ten times the cost. And there are a few others as well.
Back when I first fell for Glashütte Original almost twenty years ago, their 1845 line provided exceptional value for the asking price. Unfortunately, they dropped that line before I was able to slot one in to my collection. Until recently, I was open to the possibility of acquiring a second-hand example. No longer, but I still consider these manual winding movements . . .
