Difficult to order

But here are some I would like (not exhaustive):
MIH, Ochs & Junior (annual calendar), GS SBGH035, GS6145/6 8000, Seiko SBDB005, JLC Amvox 1, 2 & 5, Habring2 Felix, Chopard 8HF (either one), XPS (most would do but black dial, white gold would do best), XP Skeletec, LUC Sport, Lunar One (current generation), LUC Quattro (platinum, blue dial), 1963 Chronometer, 1963 PuristSPro Chronograph, Minerva Pythagore Aviation, JLC MCM (with the honey coloured strap), JLC Duometre (any, really), GO Senator Navigator PC, GO Senator Sixties Square Chrono, GO PanoRetrograph, FPJ Chronometre Bleu, VC 1972, VC 1921, VC222, Cartier Tortue Chrono (2396 IIRC), Zenith Grande Class Open Traveller Multicity (or sth such), UN Sonata, Rolex 1675, 116400GV, Tudor North Flag (may be the only one coveting that?), Lange Zeitwerk and many others smile Sure some will drop off the list and others will get added. Given that I started the year hoping to limit myself to one a year (got six so far, though), looks like a long way to go...

What's your next watch?

 By: Warrenjared1 : October 21st, 2015-11:06
What are you looking for in your next watch and why? Is it to fill a need in your collection? Is there a aspect that draws you to this watch? What will make or break the next purchase for you the movement, case material, dial color, complications or brand...

So... JLC Duometre à Chronographe, UTT or QL Enamel, Rolex 1675 Underline or UAE,

 By: amanico : October 21st, 2015-14:13
Longines Big 11 or 13 ZN, Tudor 7922, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Vintage Rotomatic Incabloc, Vintage Fifty Fathoms No Rad Bund, Vintage Fifty Fathoms Barakuda, Rolex 6536, Tissot 33.3 Chronograph, Tissot Navigator world time vintage, Bretiling Superocean Vin...

I don't need to get all of them. 10 would be enough.

 By: amanico : October 21st, 2015-22:41
And it will take time, since, as you can imagine, they are not the kind of watches which require money only. Finding and / or funding them is a challenge, and a pretty exciting one. Best, my friend. Nicolas

That's a great list!

 By: Warrenjared1 : October 22nd, 2015-04:08
Sometimes the hunt is part of the fun! Out of those which one would you like to have most Nicholas?

Yes, with a preference for vintage Chronos, Chronometers, and Diving watches.

 By: amanico : October 21st, 2015-22:43
Quite diverse, yes, among moderns and vintages... That's just a bit problematic... Best, my friend. Nicolas

Jaw dropping

Birds of a feather

The collector's spirit is alive and well inside you... Can't wait to watch the dominoes fall!!!

That's for sure... I learned patience, and believe me, it was not evident.

 By: amanico : October 21st, 2015-22:49
But patience is vital for a watch lover. Thanks for your kind words, thegrailwatch. Nicolas

No Glashüttes? . . .

 By: Dr No : October 21st, 2015-22:44

That's not an exhaustive list. :)

 By: amanico : October 22nd, 2015-02:17
I can mention the PanoInverse, the Rattrapante, and the Panoretrograph. What else, dear George? Best, Nicolas

There ya go

It is nice to have a look at other's watch wishlist

I don't know much about the vintage ones but could at least identify very interesting ones. Cheers, Mark

 By: Ares501 - Mr Green : October 22nd, 2015-06:59

I already have one...

 By: amanico : October 22nd, 2015-07:02
Shaved in one 100th second. Best, Nicolas ...

I never saw you commenting on a FPJ

 By: Alex83 : October 22nd, 2015-07:45
Any particular reason? I know that the brand does not have a particular love story with this forum... Cheers, Alex

Jaeger Lecoultre Master 8 days Perpetual Jaeger Lecoultre night and day in white gold Jaeger lecoultre Reverso Chronograph Retrograde these three models could quench my thirst for some time but a Patek 5980 would be the perfect black sheep among this happ...

I think so. But for me, budget dictates! :-)

Hoping to get one of these soon but holding off for now because ~ shhh, I think my wife may be looking to surprise me ~ hopefully. LOL I've had my eye on the YM for quite sometime but other pieces have always jumped ahead of it. The Aquanaut ~ never reall...

That would be a great gift from the wife.

 By: Warrenjared1 : October 22nd, 2015-19:23
I have always like the blue dial on the YM, Im also with you about the Aquanaut when I first saw it I wasn't a fan but it has grown on me and I would love to see it in person. I hope to pick up the Explorer sometime before the year is up maybe in the next...

Blue dial YM is nice...

 By: masterspiece : October 23rd, 2015-18:12
but I prefer the Platinum dial with its red accents. By the end of year sounds good. Maybe an early Explorer Christmas present to self Aloha, Bob

Because I don't have a "real" dress watch in a precious metal - heck, I don't have any watches in precious metals, so if I were to get another one, this is high on my list...when I can convince myself to live carefully with precious metals

The latest Omega Snoopy

 By: Arie - Mr Orange : October 22nd, 2015-01:40
is inbound and should arrive any day now... And the A. Lange & Söhne 200th Anniversary PT could be on my wrist soon as well, but that\'s totally depending on the AD\'s willingness to make a fair deal. Next: - FP Journe Chronometre Bleu (if the 1815 deal f...

The Snoopy speaks to me a lot too

As for Lange, it is a very nice one. Did you see the Honey Gold ?

Only on the net

 By: Arie - Mr Orange : October 22nd, 2015-09:40
but I\'m going for the PT version. But negotiations are not smoothly so we will see what happens. Otherwise the FPJ Bleu could be a very nice alternative. Though it\'s less of a business watch.

That snoopy will be nice!

 By: Warrenjared1 : October 22nd, 2015-11:19
Hope you can work something out with the AD on the Lange. But FPJ would be nice also!

Sometimes you need to set borders / limits

Whatever the outcome....Even if the outcome is not satisfactory.

Currently

 By: jml_watches : October 22nd, 2015-03:03
Hi Currently I'm considering another JDM Seiko. A SARG011 - really like the look of it, that and I've been massively impressed by my SARX029 - which is fab and has that standout Urushi dial. While the SARG011 is more subdued, it definitely has that certai...

Would like to expand my love to Patek

For me, I am still waiting for my Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum so that will naturally be my next watch - should arrive in 1 or 2 weeks ) As for the next watch after that.... Lange 1815 anniversary edition in honey gold Cheers Robin ...

Two very nice and yet very different watches!

Self restraint always difficult

 By: jml_watches : October 22nd, 2015-13:09
Hi Great aim of sticking to one purchase a year - but even better how you've fallen off wagon & there's still 2 months to go. Enjoy all six of them Cheers JML

Thank you!

Let\'s see how I manage with the self restraint And if I slip again (probably more when than if), there is no doubt I will share it here
