You got a MG? So this is what “semi-retirement” means? That Tremblage dial is top, GO second and the list is closed… Happy to see you back!🥂

This just happened yesterday so it's fresh news. I never left, still semi-retired...I'm a man of my words, my incoming trend shows a steady decline from double digits in 2018-2023, to 5 in 2024 and 2 so far in 2025. Good to know your choices. Cheers!

If I had to choose, that gorgeous honey gold is the one.

All of course are top class watches but my personal preferences are the Moritz Grossmann then the Glashutte Original and then the A.Lange & Sohne. The texture of the dial on the Moritz Grossmann I just find so appealing and beautiful to look at and of... 

ALS does have HWK, tremblage but those are made of "unobtainium". I agree when I scrutinize this MG, I'm glad I took the leap and will look at more of their models. I also think their range is a little wide and redundant and should expand some other compl...

with Grossmann a close second. If one looks at the movement architecture of a Lang & Heyne, the manual movements are absolutely beautifully finished. None of these German three quarter plates that covers the movement. Collectors want to see the mechan... 

A lot of us had our fair share of unpleasant experiences with the brand you mentioned. I really do like L&H movement looks but just not a huge fan of 3 lugs case design. Good thing the decision is on us to support whoever we want. Thanks sham1.

you can specify any Lang & Heyne watch with a two lug design if you are not keen on the three lug design.

I have ALS and GO watches and would certainly not mind owning a M.G. ALS has lost some of my favors over the last years due to their business behaviour and distribution model. I would therefore always "go with GO" !!

That is why MG comes to the table. Yes, I need to pay attention to other players and be open to new horizons. Thanks jlux.

Nice trio! I would say Lange for me! But the Mortiz Grossman is very impressive. And an early watch that I adored was the LunarMatic from Glashutte Original. Really like Glashutte Original's double swan neck and the models with zero-seconds reset and minu... 

I've been to Lange's factory three times. And I haven't been to G.O. nor to Grossman. Seeing all those wire spark erosion machines - like fourteen or seventeen of them - a tremendous amount for such a small factory and not seeing a single stamping machine... 

1 MG 2 ALS 3 GO However, if ALS would be represented by Lange 1 I would rank it the 1st.

I just use the small seconds models of MG/ALS to compare. I agree with this Tremblage, MG wins.

The fellow in particular whose name is now part of a very small production “brand”, which he hasn’t been a part of since 2019. On from there, he went back to his ideal scene, making stunning pieces in tiny quantities on his own, at his own pace and in his...  

I have seen photos of the movement of L&H and they are beautiful and stunning. I'm not a huge fan of a 3 lugs case but as sham1 mentioned above, it's an easy solution. The passion website is on my bookmark been watching it so I'm not ignoring this name

Spectacular trio you have there!🤌 My personal favorite of the three brands is Moritz Grossmann. IMHO Today, they are what Lange was before the Richemont acquisition. I’m seriously considering ‘pulling the trigger’ on this 37 Arabic Vintage: One SA sent me...  

I'm also appreciating simple time only watches lately, probably lazy to set the calendars lol. Wow....a new Tremblage?!? Looking forward to seeing more info. The amount of work on the dial is beyond imagination, like the HWK of Lange. Thank you for sharin... 

These 3 are among the best, along with L&H.

Uff, I can't believe I'm Team Original, but there we are. I own four Langes and adore them. I know as much about the brand as any serious hobbyist. Lange & Söhne is who they are, and it's phenomenal... but it's just not that creative. Can you imagine ... 

I also feel MG needs to look at their catalog and model families to remove redundancy and have a clear vision of what their lineup will look like. GO is like you said, and I share the same sentiment of Breguet analogy. If they step up the movement decorat...
