It’s a shame that JD has stopped most of its production. As a niche brand within the Swatch group, JD’s business model pales in comparison to its cousins

The forum and the knowledge here is of course not representative. J*D relied on Asia, a very competitive market and with their 'no ambassador' approach it was hard, then COVID... I am glad that SWATCH has the power and determination to keep the brand aliv...

Always loved there watches and sometimes regret selling mine a few years ago

And the size is perfect with 39mm. It is sad that Swatch did not invest enough in the brand to make it a success!

A shame because they had such a strong brand identity. But it's not surprising as they didn't seem to gain much traction with watch enthusiasts. Hope they are able to relaunch is some form. Cheers, John

Mine is currently in Switzerland, for a little correction and an engraving. The new CEO considers the now discontinued models 'already as collector pieces'... they will take care of them. Of course this takes for granted that he will succeed in raising th... 

Hopefully JD is able to work through this transition to much success. And I hope they publicize the bespoke pieces. Those will be a treat to see. Cheers, John

... I think it will depend individually on the piece and the owner. If it is a variation of a model like the Dragon Automaton or Charming Bird, but with other materials and color combos, then probably yes. If however someone lets the artists micropaint hi...
