... I think it will depend individually on the piece and the owner. If it is a variation of a model like the Dragon Automaton or Charming Bird, but with other materials and color combos, then probably yes. If however someone lets the artists micropaint his wife and daughter or his ancestor the 2nd Viscount Whatever... 
then probably no.
For the entry level pieces (ok that wording's a slap in the face at >100k) there will eventually be a configurator. Don't know if public or just on request tho.

It’s a shame that JD has stopped most of its production. As a niche brand within the Swatch group, JD’s business model pales in comparison to its cousins
It is a bit sad, but they had to do something. No one knew them, even with just a couple of thousand watches in production this was borderline.
The forum and the knowledge here is of course not representative. J*D relied on Asia, a very competitive market and with their 'no ambassador' approach it was hard, then COVID... I am glad that SWATCH has the power and determination to keep the brand aliv...

Mine is currently in Switzerland, for a little correction and an engraving. The new CEO considers the now discontinued models 'already as collector pieces'... they will take care of them. Of course this takes for granted that he will succeed in raising th...
