GP is really two companies in one. The haute horolgerie … the models you mentioned above.
And the more “normal” models such as the laureato and such.
The two categories are created and worked on in two totally different departments

IMHO where GP really stands out is their complications - 3 bridges tourbillons (not 1, but necessarily 3), Opera's, Jackpot, Venus-based splits, etc. They are amazing, truly unique there and more interesting than many bigger brands and independents.
