The 5131R, and that green strap, is just fantastic. Such a romantic watch.

From your posts it seems the RM was definitely creeping up there in terms of stealing wrist time.

By: Jay (Eire) : December 18th, 2018-04:25
So, what's hogged the most wrist time this year for everyone. And were there any surprises in how those watches may have found themselves more frequently on the wrist. For me I'll chose two watches, quite different but equally wrist grabbing. #1 Rolex Sub...

Not sure this one is still in the catalogue, it's therefore more and more difficult to find. What you're seing is an a.m./p..m. indicator: it's white before noon and black in the afternoon in your home timezone.

Thank you.

I think it comes down to the fact that the Explorer II will take a beating and the way I live will dish some outπ. It sort of rules out the more delicate watches for most of the time.

It has been a (vintage) Rolex year for me too. A simple 1680 Red Sub and 1675 GMT have gotten the most wrist time. These are not exactly breathtaking watches (though they're nice examples), but I love wearing them. In case you're wondering about the first...
