Thats a sweet and very capable camera...
I too had to begin somewhere and struggle through the learning curve. The best way to improve is to hang out in the Photo Forum and keep practising. Also - overcome each hurdle one at a time. Reflection, lighting, positioning, processing etc. You will get better! If I can do it, so can you!
