I too had to begin somewhere and struggle through the learning curve. The best way to improve is to hang out in the Photo Forum and keep practising. Also - overcome each hurdle one at a time. Reflection, lighting, positioning, processing etc. You will get...

I am not sure if I like the larger diameter of the 5196 but the classic 32mm 96 is a bit small too. - SJX

I'm actually searching for white metal silver dial ref.96 to go with my time only collection I think the size is 31mm and I'm actually okay with this size. It will be a very cool daily wear But personally, I will hunt for a simple non diamond version, pre... 

Somehow - like women (sorry sexist statement), diamonds complicate things! Some of the poorest designed watches become desirable for those with money to burn just because there are diamonds on them. It takes real effort (some would say true genius) to mak... 

In my humble opinion, even with diamonds, it is still a three handed watch and meets the basic criteria for a formal watch, small and slim and simple. The ref. 96 is any guise is not a poorly designed watch and even with diamonds it is a simple classic. T...

I think so as it has all the right ingredients. Applied markets, understated, beautiful movement....  

imho, the font of the numerals look ugly and the date at 6 0'clock simply spoil the elegant design. Nice picture but the watch leaves me cold. Lovesss*CL
