As the owner of the actual watch in the pic. I can tell you first hand, it is worth every penny. I've always dreamed of buying a Roger Smith Series 2w/ the dial as I was unaware of the open dial option. But once I saw the 40mm open dial w/ the 'improved co-axial movement'... I marshaled my resources and transferred the funds to Roger. I took a really deep breath when I did it but I've never regretted buying the watch and just looking at it now... it just feels right. It's the only watch I have that when I get a scratch or hairline, I don't get upset, I simply feel more connected to it. Weird but true as I'm a fanatic when it comes to the condition of my watches. I hope you decide to take the plunge.
