...the wood grips are beautiful but the black grips seem more functional. I have the boring (but incredibly durable) plastic grips on my HK...
No doubt, especially with 44 Magnum. Those grips are both originals, numbered to the gun.
Just too beautiful and historic to remove!

I am a 357 guy, tried-and-true. But I like to shoot 44 here and there to "feel the power". My limit for sure. I have shot S&W500, but do not own one.
