Horological Meandering

Not sure where to put this so Mods please move as necessary. Came across this thread on another website and it seems quite interesting if it is really fully transparent. Where did the movement go. Also wonder how reliable the movement is. Anyone know anyt... 

sadly its quartz and the movement is hidden in the sides of the case similar to the Omega Magique of the 80's. when you look at the pics of the watch you can see that the subdials touch the edge of the case and are operated from there. very clever techniq...

No reason to believe that they wouldn't be perfectly functional, but looking at the custom work on the movement, they're unlikely to be inexpensive! Cheers, pplater.

plz do tell us more about this piece! at the same time, i know this very unique cartier on the mkt. price is a quite stiff & good thing its in santos case which i m totally immuned. its a collectors piece less than 50 piece i think for this plain pall...

I pass the Quinting shop every day on the way to work. I see the watches every time I pass through Geneva Airoport. They are a nice achievement to produce, but I have never understood the necessity of having ones arm as the background of the dial. Don
