i've seen these and did a bit of investigation
sadly its quartz and the movement is hidden in the sides of the case similar to the Omega Magique of the 80's. when you look at the pics of the watch you can see that the subdials touch the edge of the case and are operated from there. very clever techniq...

They do look pretty cool and unique in person but yeah...they are quartz.
Now, if it's a mechanical transparent watch you want...

i really like its styling, very antique chinese...
plz do tell us more about this piece! at the same time, i know this very unique cartier on the mkt. price is a quite stiff & good thing its in santos case which i m totally immuned. its a collectors piece less than 50 piece i think for this plain pall...
