Not sure where to put this so Mods please move as necessary.
Came across this thread on another website and it seems quite interesting if it is really fully transparent. Where did the movement go.
Also wonder how reliable the movement is. Anyone know anything about this?
sadly its quartz and the movement is hidden in the sides of the case similar to the Omega Magique of the 80's. when you look at the pics of the watch you can see that the subdials touch the edge of the case and are operated from there.
very clever technique to make an unusual looking watch if you can live with a quartz movement.

...then you need this complicated little number by Konstantin Chaykin:

Very nice. Here's a pic of the movement and other shots of the watch. Mystery Watches Any idea if these watches are any good movement wise? Reliabillity? How much do these run? Thanks.

No reason to believe that they wouldn't be perfectly functional, but looking at the custom work on the movement, they're unlikely to be inexpensive!

Quinting introduced its first watches maybe 11-13 years ago? Ping and I saw them for the 1st time long time ago when we were in Lucerne but the watches never really did anything for me. When strapped to the wrist, those with hairy wrists (lol from this week's FWS thread) will see their wrist hairs all day long
