Horological Meandering

Ouch...

... I suppose that's a good argument for public transportation.  Your 911 must be pricey to keep around - gas and insurance not withstanding.  The 356 is considered a "historical" vehicle and some tax/registration relief is applied.  Overall the car runs great and even gets good gas mileage.  The guys at the Porsche shop where I have the car serviced are amazing and have always allowed me to observe their work.  So much so that I can now do most of the maintenance myself.  Alas, as a drummer I have to be careful with my hands... jamming a finger while trying to remove an oil filter can make the act of timekeeping quite difficult.  As a Yamaha-endorsed musician, I have several drum kits.  Here's a couple of shots of a set custom painted by legendary drummer, Prairie Prince (The Tubes, Todd Rundgren, Jefferson Starship, John Fogerty, to mention but a few).  Prairie's talents know no bounds.
