All than shines is not gold...
One is completely original and untouched...the other one is aftermarket bezel, retouched cleaned dial and repolished... For me no contest. The Phillips watch is like all the vintage watches should be: fully original and in its juice.

Not so much for aftermarket parts though. I think the taste for original & worn -> deteriorated condition is a bit overblown now; original yes, deteriorated no.

Both the lollipop CK 2913 and the 2915-1(!) . . .
. . . were in exceptionally good condition. Impossible to tell, though, if they hadn't been restored. They were correct, but that's not quite the same as original. Perhaps there was documentation verifying the authenticity of their condition which escaped...

. . . was the Patek Marilyn, which is one of those, "Sheesh, if I had that kind of play money, why not?" kinda watches. Love the movement and its utterly decadent yet totally refined aesthetic. It took my attention over the 2998, believe it or not. ;-)
