Horological Meandering

Neither did I...

I didn't use one for a very long time. My first watch, a watch I wore nearly every day for nearly 10 years, didn't have it. Sometimes, on a warm day, the watch would be noticeably tight, and sometimes on a cold morning, the watch would be too loose. I'm convinced that it's a good thing to have if the solution can be done well and done elegantly. And I think a lot of people who don't use it, don't use it because they don't have it. And those who have it, don't know they have it or don't remember they have it. But I think a lot of us would benefit from it if we used it because a lot of people do live or travel in weather where the temperature does change enough for their wrist to change substantially enough that they would use a fine adjustment system. So, now I think it's a good idea to have this.
