Looking then at the (early) AdC movements, the angles & proportions of the cocks & bridges seemed a little 'odd' - not quite 'right' - as if they'd been finished by a craftsperson who wasn't a watchmaker. The finishing - although to a high standard - looked like jewellers' work: artistic, but not like a micro-engineers'. That's all. As I've said elsewhere, I may well be wrong and, anyway, I have nothing else to say on the subject other than 'de gustibus ...' and 'caveat emptor'.
