I highly enjoyed reading your substantial review of this watch; the more so, since I am currently in medical treatment in a sanatorium (nothing serious, it is more preventive than actual cure) and use the ABR many times per day. The ease of use of the pulsometer scale, combined with the four-armed second hand is marvelous. As a true Purist I appreciate of course that the ABR saves me from having to borrow one of these nasty digital pulse watches ... 
Also the good wearing comfort of the silicon strap in hot water and all kinds of not-so-well-smelling substances is great. That the bezel is not a separate part on the case facilitates the cleaning procedure, executed several times a day.
Really a perfect watch for the occasion, and your review captured it extremely well.

One question...the movement is automatic (presumably, since you indicate rotor winding in both directions)? PuristSPro certainly "hit a home run" with this one. The idea that there is more to come is worrisome--will need more storage space!! tempusfugit

... since my stay here is less for cure, but more for prevention of more serious problems. I spend a lot of time with physical exercises. Sicne the green zones on the ABR reflect the normals values in a non-agitated status, my values have to be higher ......

If you secured the bar nut with blue loctite, would you be able to get it off?
Blue vs Red..
Patrick, FYI, Blue Loctite is removable but Red is permanent (but if you heat it enough it can come off). Also both bottles of Loctite are red but the fluid itself is either blue or red. Not sure of the generic stuff. -MW
