Do you have any experience with problems on a mechanical watch? Just wondered because my old boss is drummer in a church band and wonders about wearing his good Omega. Cheers, Mike

Mike - I drum with my watches on, from the Lange’s to the Seiko’s and all these years, I’ve had no problems with them. In fact, I get more problems with them being near my mobile phone and tablets than with the drums.

It somehow at a first quick glance reminds me of the JLC with that bluish sector dial And a watch should be able to withstand a bit of drumming shouldn’t ?

. . . recently acquainted with the drummer for Reverend Horton Heat (and who shares the same first name with you, incidentally). I related the story about Carl Palmer I'd read somewhere in which one of his record producers claimed Carl was unable to stay ... 

... Of Palmer's ability to keep (or not keep) time. I can say that Freddie Mercury's time was legendary. In fact, for Boh Rha he laid a piano track as the base track for the entire composition. Almost uncanny in its accuracy. - Scott

But that foudroyante flipping around all the time would drive me mad! A small seconds in that position I'd welcome. I'd even go for a Habring two-hander. Calm. Tells you all you really need to know. But hey, we're all so different! I'm glad to celebrate y...
