I mostly have what I want when it comes to Rolex. I'm pretty satisfied. I did just sell my old 116660 DeepSea (a silly watch) to get a new 126660 James Cameron (an even sillier watch), but I had been thinking about doing that for several years, ever since the earlier D-Blue 116660 was first introduced. This 126660 that I bought last week was the first brand new Rolex I ever purchased. I bought it new, from an AD. I did this only because I know the AD and so it was an easy purchase. Otherwise I'd never play today's Rolex game. It holds zero appeal.


This is a good excuse to post my "parting shot" -- that photo I took right after getting the 126660 and right before shipping the 116660 off to her happy new owner:
