When I was at the Lange factory, the regional president with whom I was with informed me of the difficulty on the dial. I said that there have been two or three part or more enamel dials from the company's pocket watch history seem to have little difficulty. Perhaps the pocket watch substrate is larger and thicker? Or some other extenuating circumstance? But I will stare that I've seen more than a dozen RL Plm watches and the vast majority have had tiny imperfections observable by the super scrutineer.
The other question is who makes this dial for Lange? Perhaps it's some company, likely a Swiss dial company. Perhaps they're the reason for the limitation.
